The short version: talkfrst.com does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. That's why you don't see a cookie banner. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.
1. Who we are
This cookie policy applies to the website talkfrst.com and the TalkFrst app, operated by TalkFrst BV, Vrijputstraat 40, 8540 Deerlijk, Belgium, company number BE1043.790.076. It complements our Privacy Policy.
2. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small data file that a website places on your computer or phone. Similar technologies, such as local storage in your browser or secure storage on your device, work in a comparable way. They can be used to make a website or app work, to remember your preferences, to measure traffic, or to track your browsing for advertising.
“First-party” cookies are placed by the website you visit; “third-party” cookies are placed by other parties, for example for analytics or advertising.
3. Which cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the website or app to work and do not require your consent under Belgian law. We use them only where needed and do not use them to track you.

Analytical cookies
We do not use analytical cookies on talkfrst.com. Within the app, product analytics are governed by the “Product analytics” switch in Profile › Privacy & safety, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
Marketing cookies
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to place them through our website or app.
4. Third-party content
The map in the app loads map tiles directly from OpenStreetMap. These requests do not set cookies, but they do reveal your IP address to the OpenStreetMap tile servers. Links to other websites (such as app stores or social networks) are subject to those websites' own cookie policies.
5. Managing cookies
You can delete cookies and block them in your browser settings at any time. Since we only use what is strictly necessary, blocking these may prevent parts of the Service from working. Logging out of the app removes your login tokens from your device.
6. Changes
If we start using cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before placing them.
